As a Portfolio Manager, Chris adheres to the highest standards of the investment industry in terms of regulation and education. He upholds the fiduciary responsibility and ethical obligation to prioritize clients’ best interests when providing investment advice.
With a deep understanding of the financial markets, Chris excels at identifying investment opportunities that can deliver strong returns for clients. Taking a long-term investment approach, he balances the pursuit of growth opportunities with the implementation of strategies focused on capital preservation. He places emphasis on disciplined and data-driven investment analysis, seeking out companies with strong fundamentals, sustainable competitive advantages, and appealing growth prospects.
Recognizing the significance of diversification, Chris strategically allocates investments across various sectors and asset classes to mitigate risk and optimize returns. He incorporates alternative investments, such as private equity, real estate, and private credit into clients’ portfolios, which may not be easily accessible to individual investors. He understands that traditional investments such as stocks and bonds may not always provide the desired level of returns, and that alternative investments can offer unique opportunities for growth and risk management.
Continuous monitoring plays a crucial role in his portfolio and risk management approach. Chris ensures that clients’ portfolios remain appropriately balanced and aligned with their investment goals and risk tolerance levels.
Outside the office you can find Chris indulging in delicious burgers, hiking trails with the enthusiasm of a mountain goat, and cheering for his favorite European football teams. Chris is an alumnus of the University of Toronto having graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics) and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
